Optimizing H₂S removal in produced water requires reliable data on how dissolved H₂S levels develop throughout the process. However, traditional measurement techniques such as manual tube sampling only provide snapshots, which make it difficult to evaluate and control desulfurization performance.

Continuous, inline liquid-phase H₂S measurements directly in produced water provide a complete view of H₂S development under actual process conditions. This enables operators to optimize desulfurization processes such as scavenger dosing, stripping, oxidation, and other treatment methods while simplifying monitoring and reducing the need for manual sampling.
